John has over 25 years experience as a cinematographer, having been based in the USA, Australia and the UK over that time. He’s shot over 30 documentaries for networks around the globe.
His most recent cinema documentary Knowing The Score enjoyed an extended cinema season in Australia and a Rose d’Or 2023 Nomination. He regularly shoots athlete profile films and features for NBC’s Olympic presentations, Sunday Night Football, and English Premier League. Feral Peril, a documentary for ABC TV Australia, won an ACS Golden Tripod – the highest national award in documentary cinematography that year.
