Seats are extremely comfortable and I love in my sport model that there are thigh extensions on the front seats which makes a world of difference for overall comfort in any car.

If Infiniti can make the DAS a truly optional feature (and not tied into any option packages), plus resolve the issues with InTouch and make it stable then I would consider leasing another Q50. The handling of the "S" model in particular is pretty good for a sport-tuned vehicle, with great cornering and a flat ride that’s not too stiff. What you're seeing, with the 2014 Infiniti Q50, is the follow-up to the Infiniti G, the first real Japanese-bred rival to the BMW 3-Series. Otherwise, the Q50 has a veritable mother lode of active-safety features available. Infiniti has made many of the controls in the Q50 redundant; although some convenience features, like the heated steering wheel, require going into a proper screen. The asymmetry helps keep the look a little sportier, a little more cockpit-like. They take way too long to boot, and sometimes my iPhone and those controls fight for supremacy. Most of these features are offered through a Technology Package or Deluxe Technology Package, offered on all but the base Q50 models. The S4 lacked the back seat, the Lexus lacked the power, and everything else didn't tickle my fancy. So I let my logical brain take over and I bought the car. The dual touchscreen is smartly designed and very user friendly.

The Hybrid feels just as quick, with very well-coordinated throttle response and 360 combined horsepower with a special version of Infiniti's 3.5-liter V-6 plus a 50-kW motor system and a unique dual clutch-pack hybrid system (with a dry clutch fore of the transmission and motor system and a wet clutch aft of them) that effectively smooths out both shift shock and transitions in power. by Happy Buyer It is fun to drive and I look forward to my daily commute to work.

The navigation system is a nice feature although the voice recognition system can sometimes be a bit frustrating as you need to always speak clearly toward the microphone. Ride quality is a 7 or 8. For more interior space in back, Infiniti says it's slimmed down the front seatbacks and increased front-seat travel and height adjustment. This is my second Infiniti. The Q50 does none of these things, but it doesn't do them very well. In terms of refinement and quiet, the Q50 is much improved versus the previous G model; it's now on par with German rivals for comfort and isolation, and engine noise is well-muted except when accelerating rapidly. If you were to buy a base model or ’S’ model without any option packages, then I think you will be a happy owner and consider this as a 5-star car.
