where is the advanced tab in illustrator

Click once for a corner. Now on one hand, this course is all about getting your productivity, your speed, and your workflow up. Looking okay, you might now go with the white arrows and just tidy this up. I'll do one more and see if I can't fix it. The cool thing about it is that I get to resize it. I'm going to increase those stroke size a little bit. You can drag across things. Say you're working and you want to create like a company-wide Illustrator file that people can pull colors from, is you probably don't want all the junky RGB colors. Remember what the shortcut was for filling with gradient. I'm just holding down the command key or control key on a PC and it just allows me to cycle through the programs so I can jump between Photoshop and Illustrator, within any of the program. What I'd like you to do is I'd like you to find a monument in your town. It's hidden underneath this box. I find that it's kind of a curve like especially that one like leafy shape with one in them pointing especially if it's balanced, it's quite tough to do. For this to work, this needs to be broken apart so command shift o, on a Mac we'll control shift or, on a PC and it is under break apart, create outlines or it is there so type create outlines. In addition, you will also pick up a few ways of adding interesting textures to your art. 21. I'll get rid of this stroke. So I'm going to open up, Print. But I'm looking for these joins with the things that overlapping and doing cool stuff. Just hit period '. Now comma ',' goes down. 34. I'm rumbling now. All right, if I render this one, command, you can see it's ugly 3D thing, but at least it's animated and that's the real big difference between say something like dimension and say something like Cinema 4D. Well, what do we do now is you spend a bit longer doing it than I did. You just work your way through now and figure out which one gives you the effect that you were looking for. Go home and make them a logo. You can see I'm using the HSB, I find them easy to use. I can double-click it to go inside then isolation mode, [inaudible] one guy at the bottom and I can just move it around depending on how I want this thing to look. There's a jam at the end, I promise. Hopefully now we're going to go to transparency mode. I find this really handy. The direct selection tool is really handy for, just going through and going on you want you. I just purpose-built for 3D and there's two of them. I'll get the editor speed it up actually. The only trouble with that though, is that you do run into potentially stressing your poor machine out, and how high can I go before my machine dies? This way, just a nice little extra trick worth waiting for, I hope so. Down here you've got JPEG, PNGs, I probably want PNG because I want the transparency around the fox. I'm going to lob it off probably about here. It's just a logo and needs to sit there, but I just like to scale it up. If you hold Command 2, it just locks it again. Just notice you got to go here all the way through to this. Now, there are times when if I go to "Command Y" or "Control Y" on a PC, there's a star and a star there, but look when I switch it back, they've gotten no film, no strike. Say you want a bit more control. I'm going to crop at the end, scaling up freaks it out, okay? I'm going to go to about there and then I want to go down to about and you can see it's locked, but I can still follow that path, which is really nice. Now what I want to do is, I'm going to group them just for no good reason. Double click for corner, click once for a curve, and the width one when you go back, if you double click here, it does wrong. Maybe the blue is too big. What ends up happening, you just like say you designed it and you've manipulated it and done some stuff to it. Our measure's got no stroke, it looks bit weird with a stroke. There is that. So go through them all and pick out which one you like. Basically, what you want is you want a stroke and no fill. This is before and after. One of them is delete unused panel items, and you can just hit the "Play" button to do away with thing that hasn't been used, including swatches, and brushes, and symbols. Object and let's go to envelope distort, expand. Right-click ungroup or you use a shortcut so I've got two separate shapes. Command H to turn those back on, Command seven to turn it into a clipping mask. I've got this thing here, and I promise I'll stop fiddling with it. Yeah. I've got my swatches panel open. Again, I pointed to a close on this. You can get quite complex. What you see this little web interface, if they do sign in, they get a bit more that looks like this, something like this. Yeah, that looks good. This course will speed up your productivity & workflow. But yeah, I'll do that by myself. Remember that cool shortcut is stopped showing me all the little lines. Activated fonts. Enough talking. We're going to get to effect 3D, extrude and bevel, turn preview on. There's one cold "Snap to pixels", make sure that's on. Basically this is the default Character Style for whenever you type anything new. I'm back. On the next video we'll do something a little bit more illustrator. Pixels are not as sharp around the edges. But imagine if there was a way I could do them all at the same time. I'm going to use Abril, I like Abril it is from, you can see it there, Fatface, that is from at Typekit, which if you're a Creative Cloud subscriber you can go Typekit.com and download free. So got a gradient. Watch this, going to click and drag this sky amazingly, got much of the sky, there's a few little issues, but nothing that it's going to hurt my my job. You've got 500 gigabytes of space and you've only got a couple of gigabytes left, that is just not enough. Do you remember what it was? There's a couple of things you need to do. Just hit the cursor flashing between the letter, hold down the 'Alt' key on a PC, 'Option' key on a Mac, left and right. In my design process, a mood board can help me to be unstuck from my creative block. It's pretty cool though. I will see you in the next video. Now we're not going to go through everything possible for web and UI for illustrator. It's a better way of preparing graphics because now that thing they, if I drag it in, it's actually all the way to the edges. You do have other options as well here. Yeah, I'm getting happy with that one. You guys laying on top, they got a cambodio. Or if you're in an older version of Illustrator objects, clipping mask make. I'm just going to lump mine on the desktop, click Choose. You can tell ones got that placeholder. I'm going to do that. The official ways, the ASE Folder. The inside parts and the outside parts, let's slice the holes out of the middle and then do the drop shadow.
